To begin the activity first test your microphone. When we can hear sound from your microphone a start button will appear. After you press the start button, a reading passage will appear. Read the passage aloud as clearly as you can.
Listen to a speaker read the passage aloud. You do not need to read aloud.
Listen to the speaker. Repeat after each sentence and check your pronunciation.

I don’t have a pet, but if I did, I would definitely choose a dog. Cats are cute, but for me they just aren’t affectionate enough. You also can’t do much with a cat. With a dog you can go to the park, run around or play catch. Of course, dogs are harder to look after, and they are certainly messier than cats. Even still, I’d prefer to have a dog as a pet.
